Install Walkabout on your iPhone

Three taps. Takes 15 seconds. Gives you full-screen mode, reliable photo capture, and a real Walkabout icon on your home screen.

Open Safari and go to walkabout.thequorator.com
Must be Safari — not Chrome. Chrome on iOS doesn't support PWA install.
Tap the Share button
It's the square with the upward arrow, in the bottom toolbar.
Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen"
In the share sheet that slides up. Then tap "Add" in the top-right corner.

The Walkabout icon now sits on your home screen. Tap it to open the app full-screen, with no Safari toolbar in the way.

Troubleshooting

The icon shows a "W" letter, not the Walkabout mark.

Hold the icon, delete it, then re-install via the steps above. iOS caches the icon — a fresh install picks up the proper one.

Camera doesn't work.

The camera works in installed mode. If you're still seeing issues, hold the icon, tap "Edit Home Screen," then tap the minus on the Walkabout icon to remove it. Reinstall.

I'm signed out every time.

That's a sign you're using the browser version, not the installed app. Reinstall via the steps above.
